Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Independence is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for night shift to lead nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate daily clinical operations, and ensure quality resident care while supporting residents, families, and staff.

Ideal candidates hold an active Missouri RN license and BLS/CPR certification, with 1–2 years in skilled nursing or geriatrics. Competitive benefits, sign-on offers, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Current and active RN license in Missouri.
BLS/CPR certification.
1–2 years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in SNF/LTC setting.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
Perform resident assessments and monitor condition changes.
Supervise CNAs and coordinate daily workflow.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
Complete accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with Missouri regulations.
