Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, OH seeks an Acute Care RN for the Medical Surgical-Telemetry unit. The position is full-time on the night shift (7 pm–7 am), with reporting to the Acute Care Nurse Manager. The unit features 23 beds and a focus on short-term, active treatment within a hospital setting.

Eligibility includes an RN license in Ohio, BLS, and pediatric competencies (PALS). Telemetry and rhythm analysis with ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Pediatric competent RN must have PALS.
• Telemetry competent RN must have rhythm analysis and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs of assigned patients across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Formulate a comprehensive plan of care for medical-surgical patients.
• Implement care plans based on assessment data and clinical knowledge.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and self-care.
• Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient responses and goals.
• Maintain competency and adhere to professional standards of practice.
