Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, OH is seeking a Direct Hire Acute Care Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical-Telemetry unit. The 36-hour week covers a night shift (7 pm – 7 am) reporting to the Acute Care Nurse Manager.

We emphasize compassionate, high-quality care for a broad patient population from neonates to geriatrics. Qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS, and telemetry competency with rhythm analysis and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required for pediatric competence.
• Telemetry competence requires rhythm analysis and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess total nursing needs of assigned patients across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive plan of care for medical-surgical patients.
• Collaborate in overall patient care planning with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and self-care resources.
• Evaluate and adjust the care plan based on patient responses and goals.
