Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN Care Manager-Nights in Glenview, IL. This part-time role requires weekend nights from 9:00p to 7:30a and involves payor authorizations, care coordination, and documentation accuracy across the care team.

Candidates should have IL licensure, a BSN (NLN preferred), and 2+ years of nursing experience with EMR exposure. Certification in case management or BLS/CPR is advantageous.

Qualifications

• IL nursing licensure required at time of hiring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; NLN accreditation preferred.
• Clinical certification such as case management is beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience required; utilization management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates payor authorization processes and ensures patient type accuracy.
• Collaborates to manage patient care across the continuum and remove delays.
• Ensures documentation reflects severity of illness and service intensity.
• Maintains communication with physicians and care team for timely progression.
• Addresses system issues that impede diagnosis or treatment progress.
• Seeks consultant input to expedite care and discharge planning.
• Monitors progress to ensure high quality, cost-effective care.
