Job summary

Endeavor Health - Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Evening shift in the Emergency Department. The role is full-time (36 hours per week) with an evening schedule (3p-3a) and rotating weekends/holidays.

Must hold IL nursing licensure; BSN preferred; BLS/CPR certification required; 1+ year hospital experience preferred. You will provide nursing care to diverse patient populations, apply the nursing process, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide unlicensed staff

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
