Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg in El Paso, Texas. This night-shift, full-time position provides direct clinical patient care, evaluates patient needs, and collaborates with the care team to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementation of care per the nursing process, supervising staff, administering medications safely, and supporting hospital operations during emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas license to practice.
• AHA BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care and coordinate care on a per-shift basis.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care using the nursing process; supervise staff as assigned.
• Administer medications safely and timely; contribute to emergency response and hospital safety programs.
