Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) completed
• Intermediate EKG course completed
• Annual competency requirements completed
• ACLS preferred; required for some special procedures
• Experience using Windows-based computer software preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Medical/Surgical Unit (e.g., 2 East to 7 East) following nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adult and geriatric populations
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and support mission/values
• Maintain competency in cardiac life support and related procedures
