Job summary

Advocate Health in Barrington, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 24-bed Cardiac Unit. The role features 7pm–7am shifts in a full-time schedule with a competitive benefits package.

The RN delivers patient-centered care, coordinates care across the continuum, and supports transitions to home or other care settings. Ideal candidates will hold a current IL RN license, preferably a BSN, and have CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion within four years.
• Current AHA CPR.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
• May take on-call.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; use lifting equipment for heavier lifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
• Delivers and coordinates patient-centered care across the continuum.
• Supports successful transition of patients to other healthcare delivery systems or home.
