Job summary

Horizon Health Behavioral Health Services at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK is seeking a full-time RN for night shift (7p-7a) with a $6,500 sign-on bonus. The RN will perform comprehensive psychiatric nursing care, assessments, medication administration and patient support in a behavioral health setting.

The role requires an RN license with 1 year of RN experience and preferably behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Experience in behavioral health preferred
• Registered nurse with responsibility for assessment, monitoring and reporting

Responsibilities

• Complete initial nursing assessment within 24 hours of admission and reassessment during stay
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Plan, implement and coordinate nursing care activities
• Conduct therapies according to patient diagnosis and needs
• Administer medications and follow physician orders
• Perform medication reconciliation and follow policies
• Interpret needs to nonclinical staff
