Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health team on a part-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) with rotating weekends. The hospital recently expanded its Behavioral Health unit and earned national recognition for patient experience.

The RN will collaborate with patients, families, and providers to improve outcomes and patient experience, while participating in ongoing learning and program objectives.

Qualifications

• RN clinical experience: minimum 1 year.
• BSN or ADN with BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• RN license to practice in Virginia.
• Proficient English; strong verbal and written communication; good interpersonal skills; basic computer skills.
