Job summary

Iron Bridge Recovery Center in Virginia is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide skilled nursing care, develop care plans, and coordinate treatment with the team.

This role requires RN license, at least one year of clinical or behavioral health experience, and familiarity with psychotropic medications; on-site, with nights, and a competitive hourly pay of $44-$55 plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• RN license in state or compact state.
• 1+ year nursing experience in clinical/psychiatric setting preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing care plans.
• Assesses clients’ status and communicates findings to providers.
• Transcribes and implements provider orders.
• Administers medications with client identifiers.
• Documents care and maintains medication security, including narcotics.
• Conducts admission/discharge processes and hand-offs to staff.
• Educates clients and families about medications and patient rights.
• Communicates with treatment team and participates in unit activities.
