Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit on a Part-Time Night Shift. This role supports patients with spinal cord and brain injuries, post-stroke, transplant, and other conditions in an acute rehab setting.

The RN provides holistic care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and focuses on safe, evidence-based practice. Minimum BSN and Virginia RN licensure eligibility required; prior rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Virginia or eligible for licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and provide patient-family education.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a patient-centered manner.
• Document all patient care activities and ensure accurate charts.
