Job summary

RI International is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee medical, psychiatric, and nursing care for individuals served at the Crisis - Wake Recovery Response Center in Raleigh, NC. The RN will act as a clinical liaison until clients transition to a community facility.

Qualifications

• RN license and current nursing registration in the state
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health experience
• Knowledge of psychiatric meds and interactions
• Good documentation and computer skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and create treatment plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Trauma-informed care experience preferred
• Bilingual abilities a plus
• Must pass de-escalation training as required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services with health, mental health and social service agencies.
• Assist with service planning and documentation.
• Conduct assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Provide individual and family counseling.
• Contribute to educational curriculum development.
• Supervise nursing care and monitor diabetes/blood pressure.
• Respond to crisis calls and provide interventions.
• Coordinate with external medical and nursing supports.
