Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient recovery on a 3rd shift. You will conduct intake assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications in accordance with established protocols.

The role requires an active RN license, 2 years in behavioral health or 5 years of supervisory experience, current BLS, and a willingness to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in-state
• Minimum 2 years' experience in behavioral health or 5 years of supervisory experience
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain during orientation
• CARN certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to safely administer medications and manage emergencies
• Knowledge of health care, detoxification, addiction and DSM terminology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives
• Provide individualized care and develop tailored care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care
• Educate patients and families about addiction and treatment
• Monitor patient progress and maintain confidential documentation
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment
