Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital is seeking a qualified nurse to coordinate and supervise direct patient care in acute and residential behavioral health programs. You will assess patients, coordinate treatment with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure safety in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes supervising staff, delivering quality nursing care, and managing crises during 12-hour shifts, with compensation in the $35.00–$52.00 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of nursing care and interventions with psychiatric patients.
• Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications, potential side effects, and psychiatric diagnoses.
• Ability to direct others in the delivery of services and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise direct patient care for residents/patients in acute and residential programs.
• Assess patients’ needs and coordinate/implement quality nursing care as prescribed by the Treatment Team/Physician.
• Provide safety and crisis management and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
