Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program; must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• 1 year of RN experience; specialty areas may require more experience as dictated by unit or standard of care.
• Texas BON license (or BNE Compact State) and BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
• Develops an appropriate plan of care based on assessments and patient needs.
• Collaborates with the health care team to coordinate care.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions and monitors changes in condition.
• Documents interventions, evaluation, and discharge planning.
