Job summary

Valley Hope Addiction Treatment & Recovery offers a night-shift RN position in Atchison, KS. The RN will implement prescribed treatments, monitor patients during detox, and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure safe and effective care in a residential treatment setting.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in nursing, KS RN licensure, and CPR certification. We provide a nurse residency program, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits to support our dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensed RN in the state of employment (KS).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions established for each patient.
• Provides nursing care during detox and monitors patients during detoxification (30–45 days).
• Records treatment activities and patient observations accurately and timely; completes paperwork as needed.
• Communicates with nursing supervisors, staff, and clinical team regarding patient treatment and status.
• Maintains infection control techniques and universal precautions to ensure a safe environment.
• Oversees non-licensed nursing staff under the direction of the Nursing Director.
