Job summary

Valley Hope in Atchison, Kansas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift (5:30pm - 6:00am) to join our dedicated team. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate care and a mission-driven environment in a residential treatment setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing and RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be licensed to practice in Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.
• Implements nursing care per Valley Hope’s policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Conducts detox admissions and provides patient care during detoxification, including assessments and health history.
• Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely.
• Communicates with nursing supervisors and clinical staff regarding patients’ treatment and status.
• Follows policies for medical emergencies and maintains infection control.
• Oversees non-licensed nursing staff under the Nursing Director.
