Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting diverse populations.
• Partners with patients and families: bedside shifts, rounds, and effective teaching.
• Adheres to current clinical practice standards and promotes patient safety.
• Coordinates safe care delivery and documentation within an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates teamwork, fiscal responsibility, and staff recruitment/retention support.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance through data and research.
