Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for Acute Care - Ortho Surgical Weekend, a full-time night role (Friday–Sunday). The nurse will perform nursing processes, coordinate with the care team, and deliver patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based standards.

Requirements include a nursing degree (Associates/Diploma/Bachelors preferred), an active RN license (single-state or compact), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Required minimum education: Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's in Nursing (preferred).
• Active RN license: Single State or Multi-state Compact (License to practice).
• BLS certification required; instructor or ARC-BLS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates care through interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
• Delivers patient-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and family involvement.
• Ensures accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards and Wellstar policies.
