Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care - Ortho Surgical unit on the Full-Time Night Shift. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality patient care under the Wellstar governance model.

Requirements include an active RN license (GA or compact) and BLS certification. Ideal candidates bring experience in acute care and a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Georgia or Compact
• BLS certification required upon hire, or as stated

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers patient-centered care tailored to population characteristics and cultural diversity.
• Collaborates with patient and family to set goals and ensure understanding of the plan of care.
• Maintains current clinical practice standards and documentation
• Coordinates safe, high-quality care and promotes interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and shared governance within the patient care team.
