Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Acute Care - Ortho Surgical unit on a part-time night shift in Georgia. The RN will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care and will follow Wellstar Practice Model and ethics standards.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care, coordinating with care teams, and contributing to performance improvement initiatives while upholding patient safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s- or diploma-level nursing degree required/preferred.
• RN license active in Georgia or Multi-state Compact as applicable.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience with direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process with evidence-based care for orthopedic surgical patients.
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Mentor and precept other staff to ensure competent workforce.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards and governance.
