Job summary

Trinity Health is hiring an Registered Nurse for the 5 North Medicine unit in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) role involves telemetry-capable inpatient care with diverse medical conditions. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensure patient-centered care, and pursue NIHSS certification within six months of hire.

Requirements include MI RN license, BLS, ACLS for specific departments, and BSN preferred. A BSN within five years of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency departments.
• BSN within five years of hire or transfer to RN role.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise an individualized plan of care.
• Educate patient and family using teach-back method.
• Help prevent hospital-acquired conditions.
• Communicate patient status and priorities during rounds and handoffs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
