Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Acute Care in the Central Staffing Office. This PRN/night position on the main hospital floor requires patient-focused care and adherence to protocols in a busy Med/Surg setting.

The role demands TX RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least two years of nursing experience. A BSN is preferred, with strong communication and precepting abilities. Expect on-site work with rotating weekends and major holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer BSN.
• Must have current RN license in Texas or Compact license.
• CPR certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned patient population per protocols and plan.
• Advocate for patients and maintain patient-centered care.
• Document timely entries in patient records and comply with standards.
• Float to areas within skillset as needed and mentor staff.
• Stay current with nursing practice and participate in training.
