Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse 1 (T&RC) for the CTICR cardiothoracic stepdown on the Night Shift. Responsibility includes assessing patients, formulating care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the health team to align nursing care with the treatment plan.

Must hold NYS RN license; BSN preferred and acute care experience is valued. Full-time nights at 7West CTICR with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• Active NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; acute care experience valued.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition and coordinate nursing care with other health disciplines.
• Develop an individualized care plan including discharge planning.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Maintain infection control and a safe environment.
• Document patient education and responses in the medical record.
