Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System in Newark, DE, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 6A Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit. This FT night shift role includes a 20% shift differential and is subject to weekends and holidays per department guidelines.

The ACE unit cares for five med-surg patients per shift and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold a DE RN license or compact license; BSN preferred; one year inpatient experience; BLS required; gerontology

Qualifications

• DE RN license or compact license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN must obtain BSN within 3 years.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience required.
• Passion for working with older adults essential.
• BLS certification required.
• Gerontology certification preferred.
