Job summary

Health First is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care across the continuum, adhering to the nursing process in a collaborative environment. The role focuses on evidence-based practice, care coordination, and engaging patients and families to promote optimal outcomes.

Applicants should have an ASN or Nursing Diploma with Florida RN licensure. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed depending on unit.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma completed.
• Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider required before start.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP as unit needs may require.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care following the nursing process.
• Administers medications and documents care per policies.
• Collaborates with the care team and participates in rounds.
• Identifies changes in patient condition and initiates interventions.
• Educates patients and families using teach-back for engagement and safe transitions.
• Follows safety protocols and infection prevention practices.
