Job summary

UPMC Carlisle is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse (RN) for the 2nd Floor Acute Cardiac & Neuro unit. This full-time night-shift position (7pm–7am) offers a $20,000 sign-on potential, loan repayment options, and generous PTO/holidays. No on-call requirement and a 24-bed unit focused on cardiac and neurological care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse seeking experience in an acute cardiac & neuro unit.
• Ability to work Night Shift (7pm–7am) with shift differential.
• No on-call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adults in the Acute Cardiac & Neuro unit.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in unit quality improvement activities.
