Job summary

Mount Regis Recovery in Salem, VA is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time night work and a pay rate of $34 per hour base, with increases based on experience.

Schedule is 7p–7a, 3-12s, with rotating weekends, and shift differentials apply. Mount Regis Center is a 68-bed, licensed drug and alcohol treatment facility offering detox, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/mental/behavioral or substance use nursing experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined by state and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed appropriately.
• Monitor patient status and document pertinent information.
