Job summary

Valley View Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for night shifts to deliver high-quality nursing care from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will lead overnight care, collaborate with CNAs and on-call providers, and ensure residents’ safety and comfort in a quiet, focused setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively during night hours.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ conditions and changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with on-call providers and interdisciplinary team members as needed.
• Provide calm reassurance and emotional support to residents overnight.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic nighttime environment.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
