Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks an RN for the 5 West observation unit, a 25-bed fast-paced unit supporting the Emergency Department. You will provide bedside nursing care for a diverse patient population, including chest pain, heart failure, GI issues, orthopedic and neuro conditions, with telemetry and IVs.

This full-time night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), 36 hours weekly, includes a comprehensive benefits package, on-demand pay via Payactiv, discounts, retirement

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN licensed required.
• BLS within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per ANA standards and Michigan law.
• Demonstrate nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Maintain professional standards including ethics, communication, leadership, and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
