Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for North Pavilion 4/5 on the night shift in Worcester, MA. This on-site, part-time role offers opportunities to deliver direct patient care and coordinate planning from admission through discharge.

The position requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and strong nursing knowledge. ACLS is preferred where applicable, with a potential signing bonus and a collaborative care environment across the health system.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification is required for every RN.
• ACLS certification current is preferred or required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for direct patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others according to job description and competency.
