Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse for full-time work on a rotating weekends/holidays schedule. Starting pay is $37.50 per hour, with a 36-hour work week and 6:45pm–7:15am shifts.

Eligible applicants may receive up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The role requires RN licensure and BLS, with opportunities for professional growth through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in acute care setting preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
