Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical team on the night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends. A $20,000 commitment bonus for experienced RNs and a $10,000 commitment bonus for new graduates are offered.

You will perform patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, document care, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)
• One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
