Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, TN is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift. The role includes admissions/ transfers, patient assessments, and accurate documentation. We offer a robust orientation, ongoing education, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires Tennessee RN licensure and BLS; ACLS within six months is expected. A clinical experience background is preferred to support high-acuity post-ICU care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS within 6 months.
• Preferred: clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
