Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Demonstrate clinical advancement and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize nursing process for clinical judgment and decision making while maintaining patient safety.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance within the unit; delegate and supervise care delivery as appropriate.
• Establish therapeutic nurse-patient/family relationships and advocate for patient needs.
