Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 year clinical RN experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California RN licensure required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• PALS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Coordinate care through effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate nursing process, clinical judgment, and safety standards.
• Lead and precept nurses, supervise care delivery and mentoring.
