Job summary

AWT is seeking a dedicated rewind operator at our Minneapolis, MN facility. The role focuses on safe and efficient operation of rewind equipment, ensuring parts meet specs, and maintaining precise documentation. Shift is scheduled Wednesday–Friday with early morning hours, with potential extra days as needed.

Strong teamwork and adherence to ISO SOPs are essential. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to operate rewind equipment safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to follow SOPs (ISO) and job instructions precisely.
• Capable of working in a team and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify parts meet specs and orders before starting work.
• Ensure paperwork is legible and accurate.
• Gather materials to meet ship dates and set correct tensions.
• Use appropriate accessories and inspect finished product for conformance.
• Keep rewind checklist and core labels accurate and organized.
• Maintain clean stacking and readiness for next operation.
