Job summary

Abbott Label in Mesa, AZ is seeking a 2nd Shift Rewind Operator to join our fast-paced plant. You will stage materials, operate rewind machinery, and assist with quality control to ensure efficient production flow.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience; experience with rewind machinery and narrow web printing is preferred. Training is provided on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operates rewind machinery.
• Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of rewind jobs.
• Determines quantities required for rewind job.
• Aligns and configures machinery.
• Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of work.
• Troubleshoots issues with rewind machine and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on rewind machines.
• Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
• Maintains a clean area around rewind machinery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
