Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
• State licensure.
• PALS within 30 days.
• ACLS within 1 year.
• NRP, ACLS and BLS from date of hire.
• BLS card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope respiratory care in a direct patient care environment.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth.
• Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.
