Job summary

Mount Carmel Health is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) for a 12-hour night shift in Grove City, OH. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position.

The role involves providing respiratory care, conducting diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records while ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices. The team collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2- or 4-year Respiratory Care Program.
• Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio and NBRC credential indicating RRT or CRT.
• Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures such as aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Care with patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Perform duties outside the normal routine care of the patient as needed.
• Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Record information/patient assessments in the medical record and maintain departmental records.
• Precept new employees and participate in student rotations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Communicate clinical information and collaborate with physicians and other health care teams.
