Requirements include completion of a 2- to 4-year Respiratory Care Program, Ohio licensure, NBRC RRT/CRT credential, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 2- or 4-year Respiratory Care Program.
• Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in Ohio.
• NBRC registry credential (RRT or CRT).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with adult and neonatal respiratory therapy.
• Maintain current ACLS/BLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Care and promote patient safety.
• Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures and tests per policy.
• Record patient assessments in the medical record.
• Precept new employees and participate in student rotations.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment plans.
