Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) in Ohio. The role focuses on providing respiratory therapies for acutely and chronically ill patients within the Ohio scope of practice, with a 12-hour night shift.

Sign-on bonus of $5,000 highlights the position. The successful candidate will have an accredited respiratory care program, state license with NBRC credentials, neonatal and adult therapy experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a 2- or 4-year respiratory care program.
• Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and NBRC credential (RRT/CRT).
• Clinical experience with aerosolized meds, ventilation, intubations, ABGs.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Perform duties outside normal routine care as needed.
• Initiate and administer therapies and tests per policy.
• Document assessments and maintain records.
• Precept new staff and participate in rotations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Communicate with physicians and care team about plans.

Education

Respiratory care program (2- or 4-year)

Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License + NBRC RRT/CRT

Clinical experience in adult & neonatal respiratory therapy

Current BLS certification
