Aurora Health Care Southern Lakes, Inc. seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha. This 0.9 FTE night shift role offers a pay range of $33.05-$49.60/hour with a $12,500 sign-on bonus and loan/tuition assistance up to $21,000 each year.

Requires an associate degree and NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT) with BLS. No prior experience required; strong clinical and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with at least an associate degree.
• RCP license as required by the state.
• NBRC credentials: active RRT or CRT.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using pulmonary diagnostics and blood gas analysis.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care areas.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures per order.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose and self-care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; report issues.
• Promote patient safety and clear handoffs.
• Teach and precept new teammates and students.
