Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center is seeking a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our dedicated healthcare team and deliver respiratory care to residents during the night shift.

You will assess, treat, and monitor patients per physician orders, while collaborating with nursing and medical staff to ensure high-quality care and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RT license (CRT or RRT) required.
• BLS CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide therapy per orders.
• Administer oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document interventions and equipment use accurately.
• Respond to changes in respiratory status and coordinate with staff.
• Maintain and calibrate RT equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatments.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to work closely with our nursing and clinical staff to deliver exceptional respiratory care to our residents. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve optimal breathing function, recovery, and comfort in a caring and resident-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document respiratory interventions, progress notes, and equipment use accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' respiratory status and coordinate care with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and health practices.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT) in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (CPR); ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome!).
• Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented with a focus on quality care.
