Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our care team in Chardon, OH. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy and collaborating with the care team to enhance resident wellness.

The ideal candidate will have a current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Ohio, an NBRC certification, and strong interpersonal skills. Journey offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Ohio.
• CRT or RRT credential (NBRC certified).
• Prior experience in long-term care or a similar setting preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting care accurately.
• Assist in emergency respiratory interventions as needed.
