Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care for adults and neonates. You will perform ABG, PFT, ventilatory support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, and airway maintenance under supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires a respiratory care program graduate, BLS/ACLS, and within one year, NRP and PALS per hire policy; Texas licensure and NBRC registration are expected.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Mansioni

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration, aerosol and humidity therapy, airway maintenance and chest physiotherapy.
• Performs and reports arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry and pulmonary function studies.
• Interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data when reviewing patient information.
• Operates, troubleshoots and maintains cardiopulmonary equipment such as ventilators andblood gas analyzers.
• Contributes to infection control, safety and quality assurance activities.
