Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support routine and critical care across emergency, ICU, and acute settings. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, monitor ventilation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to stabilize patients.

This PRN role includes a minimum of two night shifts per week and ongoing professional growth within a supportive team. The position prioritizes patient-focused care, adherence to infection-prevention

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RRT/RCP licensure/state credential required.
• BCLS instructor credential required or eligible.
• Certificate in respiratory care or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, meds, airway clearance therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway support across settings (invasive/noninvasive).
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with care team; assist newborn stabilization if needed.
