Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to join our team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, and support patients across care settings. This role involves a minimum of two night shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) is required.
• Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP-State) certification is required.
• BCLS Instructor certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver oxygen support, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques and other therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airways including invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource; assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to infection prevention standards.
