Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RN/RT licensure as applicable where required; state licensure.
• BCLS certification required; instructor credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Assist with invasive and noninvasive ventilation and monitor patient response.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment; ensure infection-prevention standards.
